Antique Stennes Grandmother Clock

A 1968 dwarf case clock made by the late Elmer Stennes of Weymouth Massachusetts. This bleached mahogany version is a scaled down version of the “Roxbury” case form made popular by the Willard family, with line inlaid and quarter fans inlays in the corners. The dial is painted with pink roses and Roman numbers, with a German 3 train 8 day movement, striking on the hour and quarter hour with a Westminster chime sequence.
