An 18th c. English Georgian South Staffordshire enamel on copper Etui Nécessaire travel box c.1765 containing embroidery and sewing implements. The hand painted Rococo relief-molded Enamel Box is illustrated with fruit and birds in gold cartouches, on the front a seated lady. The fitted interior holds scissors, needle, pick and thread holder.
Great condition with a bit of craquelure to the enamel and the scissors are missing finger ring.
